The “Grand Sud-Ouest” (GSO) days of the Société Chimique de France will be held on

February 1^st  and 2^nd , 2024 in Bordeaux at the European Institute of Chemistry and Biology (IECB).

These days aim to bring together the community of chemists from the Occitanie and Nouvelle Aquitaine regions, in a spirit of transversality in order to encourage geographical and thematic decompartmentalization. The objective of these days is to offer an opportunity to bring together the greatest number of doctoral students and young researchers in order to promote exchanges within a geographical area representing a quarter of the French territory.

The scientific program  will be an opportunity for each participant to open up to different fields of chemistry. Furthermore, the numerous oral communications scheduled will offer opportunities to doctoral students from the various locations to present their work. Poster sessions organized simultaneously with food and drinks will give all participants the opportunity to exchange in a friendly atmosphere. Flash poster presentations will be held ahead of these poster sessions. Exhibitors will be able to quickly present their company and the stand they will have during this same period.
